The Island Motorsports Alliance is the central platform for connecting motorsport communities from island nations around the world. We exist to create access, coordination, and clear progression pathways that allow athletes and organizations to succeed beyond the limits of geographic isolation.

Island Motorsports Alliance Mission
The Island Motorsports Alliance (IMA) connects and strengthens motorsports communities across island nations. Island-based motorsports operate under unique constraints. Geographic isolation, limited infrastructure, smaller participant pools, and restricted access to international competition create barriers that talent alone cannot overcome. IMA exists to address those barriers through coordination, access, and shared opportunity.
A primary focus for us is athlete development.
IMA works with clubs, associations, organizers, and athletes to create clear pathways from local competition to off-island and international exposure. We support the progression of island-based athletes by improving access to coaching, competition, mentorship, and resources that are often unavailable within island systems.
Athlete Development Program
The Island Motorsports Alliance Athlete Development Program exists to support island-based motocross and off-road motorcycle athletes who face structural barriers to progression beyond their home nations.
Who the Program Serves
The program primarily supports athletes aged 10 to 24, while remaining open to consideration at any age where participation delivers clear benefit to the athlete, their home island, and the broader island motorsports community. Priority is given to athletes who would otherwise lack access to off-island competition, development opportunities, or exposure without Alliance involvement.
How the Program Supports Athletes
The program focuses on creating pathways rather than prescribing outcomes. Support may include access to competition opportunities, coaching, mentorship, performance resources, and integration into broader island-based development initiatives. The emphasis is on long-term progression, sustainable development, and alignment with existing clubs and associations.
Why Island Motorsports Alliance Exists
Island motorsport communities consistently produce capable, committed athletes, yet structural limitations prevent many from progressing beyond their local environment. Distance, cost, limited competition depth, and reduced visibility create systemic barriers that mainland systems do not face.
The Island Motorsports Alliance exists to close that gap by coordinating resources, creating athlete pathways, and ensuring islandbased motorsport has credible representation, access, and opportunity on a broader stage.
